Just Announced: NSF61/ANSI 372 Certification for Weinman & Deming Horizontal Split Case pumps
Crane Pumps & Systems has just announced the Weinman & Deming Horizontal Split Case pumps, Weinman End Suction pumps (375/575) and Burks Vertical Multistage pumps compliance with the NSF 372 and NSF 61 standards.
With these compliance certifications, CP&S now has a complete line of water pumps that meet our industry's highest requirements and complies with the federally mandated Safe Drinking Water Act.
NSF/ANSI 372 is a standard that assesses materials of construction of products, and requires that wetted surfaces meet a weighted average lead content of less than 0.25%.
NSF/ANSI 61 is a standard for evaluating plumbing products for contaminants and requires that amount of contaminants leaching from products into drinking water is below acceptable levels established by EPA.
